Registered Nurse (RN)
Pediatric Private Duty Nursing - Day Shift
Location: Kissimmee, FL 34744
Schedule: Weekend | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Pay Range: $30-$35 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) with pediatric private duty experience to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for medically complex pediatric patients in their homes.
This night shift role is ideal for nurses who thrive in an independent setting while delivering high-quality, family-centered care. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled pediatric nursing care in a home setting
  • Administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, enteral, and IV)
  • Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning
  • Manage tube feedings and oxygen therapy
  • Monitor and manage seizure activity and neurological conditions
  • Provide wound care and post-surgical care
  • Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, dressing, mobility)
  • Perform repositioning and support elimination needs
  • Monitor patient condition and document changes accurately
  • Maintain and review Medication Administration Records (MAR)
  • Communicate effectively with families and care team members
  • Travel as needed within the region to support assigned patients
Required Qualifications
  • Active Florida RN license
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to pass Level II background screening
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients

  • Oxygen-dependent patient care
  • IV therapy
