Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor

Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Located in Walpole, MA

Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 123-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to provide exceptional leadership and hands-on nursing care to our residents. As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will oversee licensed and support nursing staff on weekends, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, Medication Technicians, and Restorative Aides on assigned units
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV administration, colostomy care, tube feedings, and suctioning
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders, administer medications, and monitor residents for changes or adverse reactions
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met, and staff follow policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic resident care
• Participate in QAPI activities, surveys, and end-of-life care as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and infection control standards

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Current CPR certification
• Prior long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to supervise staff with tact and professionalism
