Automotive Technician | $40–$50+/HR | No Weekends

Location: Terre Haute, IN
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay: $40–$50+ per flat-rate hour

A busy Terre Haute shop is hiring an experienced A-Level or strong A/B-Level Automotive Technician.

Serving the community for more than 35 years, the shop recently moved into a new, air-conditioned 14-bay facility designed for efficient, modern automotive repair.

Position Highlights

  • Consistent workflow of 50–55 vehicles per week
  • Multiple bays per technician
  • Dealer-level diagnostic equipment
  • EV and ADAS service technology
  • Domestic and import vehicles
  • Experienced leadership and support staff
  • Apprentices to support the team

What You'll Do

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs
  • Service all makes and models, including EVs
  • Complete maintenance and drivability repairs
  • Perform major engine and transmission repairs
  • Use Digital Vehicle Inspections
  • Maintain strong billed hours and productivity
  • Collaborate with technicians and apprentices

What We're Looking For

  • A-Level or strong A/B-Level technician experience
  • Five or more years of recent automotive repair experience
  • Three to five or more years of diagnostic experience
  • Proven productivity and billed hours
  • Strong communication and a positive attitude
  • Team-player mindset
  • ASE certifications preferred or willingness to obtain them
