Job Summary:

As a Roofing Journeyman, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems in compliance with industry standards and local building codes. You will work under the guidance of a Roofing Foreman and collaborate with a team of skilled roofers to ensure the successful completion of projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain different types of roofing systems, including shingle, tile, metal, and flat roofs.

  • Assess roofing structures and identify any issues, such as leaks, damages, or structural weaknesses.

  • Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for the installation of new roofing materials.

  • Install insulation and vapor barriers as necessary.

  • Safely operate and maintain various roofing tools and equipment.
