Job description


Manual & technical work in public works construction, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities involving plumbing, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration system, electrical systems, telecommunications systems, and data systems; all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma required, with supplemental course work in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical fields preferred. Three to five years of experience in public work related activities, or the trades; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous apprenticeship program in trades desirable.
Massachusetts Class D Drivers License. OSHA 40 desired.
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret basic plans, schematics, drawings and specifications. Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment. Ability to understand and carry out oral instruction. Ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions. Ability to observe required safety precautions.
$2,280.07 bi-weekly, plus benefits.
