Position Summary

At Upchurch Services, the Service In-Plant Industrial Apprentice Electrician - Food Production is building the foundation of a skilled trades career while helping protect the customer's production capability, supporting food safety objectives, and contributing to the safe and reliable operation of critical facility assets.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist experienced Industrial Electricians with the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems supporting food production operations.

· Gain hands-on training and practical experience in industrial electrical maintenance while working within a customer facility.

· Work under the direction of a Journeyman Electrician, Lead Electrician, Foreman, or Site Supervisor to safely learn electrical maintenance practices, industrial controls, food production equipment support, and customer service expectations.

· Progressively develop technical skills while supporting the reliable operation of production and facility equipment.

· Represent Upchurch Services by demonstrating professionalism, a strong safety mindset, a willingness to learn, and positive working relationships with customer personnel and fellow team members.

Preferred Qualifications

· Enrollment in or willingness to participate in an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.

· Technical school coursework in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.

· No prior industrial electrical experience required.

· Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, construction, mechanical trades, or technical environments preferred.

· Demonstrated mechanical aptitude strongly preferred.

· Licenses and Certifications:
