About the Role

We're looking for an Apprentice Service Scale Technician who thrives on learning and following procedures, takes pride in doing the job right the first time, and enjoys working with mechanical and electronic systems. This role is essential to helping our customers maintain accurate and compliant weighing systems across a range of industrial environments.

Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Learn. Apply. Grow: Upon hire, you will begin training and development in the scale industry in our unique apprenticeship program.
  • Learn and apply scale industry fundamentals and professional standards
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot mechanical/ electrical components of industrial scales
  • Provide timely and efficient service to ensure equipment is operating accurately and reliably
  • Follow detailed processes for documentation, calibration, and reporting
  • Operate industrial equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and competently
  • Use software and mobile tools to log service reports and communicate updates
  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools according to company policy
  • Follow established schedules and instructions with minimal deviation
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather

What You Bring

  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record (Valued: CDL Class B)
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in varying conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures without shortcuts
  • A professional attitude and image as a representative of the company
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, or industrial systems
  • Comfortable with technology, including email, mobile apps, and troubleshooting software
