The Farmers Insurance Apprentice Agent will support the agency's operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the insurance field. Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Policy Recommendations: Analyze clients insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure effective policy implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the agency management system
  • Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to learn about various insurance products, sales techniques, and industry regulations.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor degree preferred; High school diploma or an equivalent required.
  • Experience in insurance sales or a related field preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Licensing: Valid insurance producer license in Property and Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident in the state of Georgia (or willingness to obtain one/both).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
