Job description


Twin Resources LLC is a assisting aleading manufacturing company located in Springfield, OH. They are currently seeking several highly skilled and experienced Toolmakers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The shifts available are first, split, and 2nd.  There are 3 needs at this time.  

As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining a variety of tools used in the production of our products. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that all tools are functioning properly and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to create and repair tools

- Operating a variety of hand and power tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders

- Using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of tools

- Troubleshooting and repairing damaged tools to minimize downtime

- Collaborating with engineers and production teams to develop new tool designs and improve existing ones

- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and following all safety protocols

- Documenting all tool repairs and maintenance for record-keeping purposes

- Training and mentoring junior toolmakers and apprentices as needed

To be successful in this role, you should have a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in toolmaking is preferred

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Toolmaker in a manufacturing environment

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

- Experience operating a variety of hand and power tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders

- Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and their use

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
