• Use source control, peer review, issue tracking, and team coding standards to produce secure, maintainable code.

• Collaborate with developers, testers, DevSecOps engineers, cybersecurity staff, and functional subject-matter experts.

• Create clear technical notes, test evidence, and other development artifacts needed for release and Government review.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• At least one year of professional software-development experience, including internships, apprenticeships, or equivalent hands-on delivery experience.

• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming and at least one back-end language or runtime.

• Foundational experience with web technologies, APIs, relational databases | SQL, source control, automated unit testing.

• Ability to break down problems, follow established engineering practices, and ask effective technical questions.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to contribute within a distributed Agile team.

• Commitment to secure coding, data integrity, documentation, and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a modern web user-interface framework.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, message-or file-based interfaces, barcode or peripheral integration, or transactional data workflows.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containers, automated security scans, or cloud-based development environments.

• Exposure to federal, Department of Defense, healthcare, logistics, inventory, or other safety- or mission-critical systems.

• Awareness of accessibility, secure software-development, and configuration-management practices.
