About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead the Conference Tech platform integrations, to enable a seamless, worldโ€‘class experience for Cโ€‘level executives. This role will be responsible for leading crossโ€‘regional engineering teams to execute platform integrations, elevate engineering excellence, and deliver highโ€‘quality, scalable solutions aligned with business strategy.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead Engineering : Lead a cross regional engineering team to deliver innovative solutions while fostering ownership, accountability, and high performance.
  • Drive Platform Integration : Execute the conference platform integration roadmap, influence technology direction, and ensure successful delivery in an agile environment.
  • Enable Engineering Excellence : Strengthen SDLC rigor, platform architecture, and engineering discipline, embedding responsible AI practices to deliver secure, scalable, and future ready enterprise solutions.
  • Partner & Lead Change : Partner with Conference business and IT leaders to align technology solutions to strategic priorities, and lead change to ensure successful adoption of new platforms, processes, and ways of working.
  • Champion Quality : Drive a quality first culture leveraging AI powered, responsible SDLC practices that improve reliability, scalability, and delivery efficiency.
What You Will Need
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s in computer science or related field.
  • Experience: 12โ€“15 years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong execution background in enterprise platform integrations, cloud architecture (AWS), objectโ€‘oriented programming โ€“ .NET/Java/Ruby, and expertise in building enterpriseโ€‘scale APIโ€‘centric and eventโ€‘driven platforms. Experience leveraging AI powered features within digital platforms to deliver personalized, intuitive user experiences and to improve user engagement and elevate attendee experiences.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage distributed teams and drive organizational change. Ability to collaborate across IT and business functions to drive innovation.
  • Preferred: Curiosity and drive for continuous learning. Experience leading large platform integration initiatives.
