Job description

Experienced Residential Electrical Apprentice
Purpose: As an Experienced Electrician, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the successful completion of electrical work on residential new construction projects. This position involves leading crews, managing job sites, and guiding apprentice electricians while overseeing multiple phases of each project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve electrical and safety-related issues promptly
  • Take corrective action to maintain safe and compliant job sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Accurately complete quality assurance and project documentation
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules
  • Follow direction from supervisors while continuing to learn and refine trade skills
  • Perform duties across all stages of the electrical installation process

Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members
  • Commitment to producing precise, high-quality electrical work
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with builders, contractors, and project managers
  • Solid understanding of standard electrical concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when needed
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Consistent, dependable work ethic and positive attitude
  • Availability to work from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50-75 lbs independently
  • Mobility and Agility: Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periods
  • Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision
  • Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments
