Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our field team, with a primary focus on alarm system installation, troubleshooting, and configuration. This role also involves supporting the team with CAT6 network cabling, mounting TVs, and CCTV installations as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable in active work environments, and capable of completing projects independently or as part of a team. Local position only — service area covers Mobile, AL to Panama City, FL. No overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and configure residential and commercial alarm systems.

• Program alarm panels, sensors, and monitoring integrations to customer/site specifications.

• Assist with CAT6 network cabling installation and termination as needed.

• Work will be in residential and commercial job sites. New and post construction.

• Perform job site cleanup and ensure a professional finish on all installs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.

• Follow safety standards and local codes.

• Communicate clearly with team members and clients.

Requirements

*** Must have valid driver's license with clean history for last two years

• 1-3 years of proven experience in alarm system installation/troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with tools and testing equipment for alarms and low-voltage electronics.

• Ability to read blueprints and building plans.

• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in active job site conditions.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with common alarm platforms (DSC, Honeywell, etc.).

• OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications.

• Experience with CAT6, CCTV installations a plus.
