NEI Electric is a full service electrical contracting company with offices in White Bear Lake, MN and Eau Claire, WI. We are dedicated to providing our customers with personalized service and quality craftsmanship. Our customers include local and national businesses in healthcare, retail, industrial, food processing, and commercial markets.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the electrical industry and are looking to contribute to a growing company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The main job of an electrician apprentice is to learn from a certified electrician. They will be learning everything they need to know to do the job and have to learn by instruction, observing and performing the tasks. The goal of an electrician apprentice is to be fully qualified once their apprenticeship is done, which means they should be able to do electrician tasks independently. By the end of the apprenticeship, the electrician apprentice should be able to lay out, assemble, install, test and repair electric fixtures.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred schooling in the electrical realm

High school diploma or GED at least

Basic understanding of how electric fixtures work

Client services or customer service skills

Oral and written communication skills

Ability to learn quickly through oral instruction or observation

Willingness to learn on the job

Good motor skills and finger dexterity
