About the Role:
The Service Journeyman Plumber plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This position requires a deep understanding of plumbing codes, system diagnostics, and repair techniques to ensure safe and efficient water supply and waste removal. Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent experience as a journeyman plumber.
- Valid journeyman plumber license or certification as required by the state of employment.
- Proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and building codes.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and broken fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, building codes, and plumbing schematics to plan and execute installations and repairs accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate plumbing work and provide expert advice on system upgrades or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job for reporting and billing purposes.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and local plumbing codes to ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
