Position Summary 

The Install Apprentice is responsible for performing electrical installations on a variety of electrical systems and equipment including solar under the direction of the Lead Installer. Depending on experience, the Install Apprentice will be directed by the Lead Installer to perform repairs and/or assist in the replacement to systems, (IE…meter main panels, sub-panels, outlet and switch repair and replacement, circuit additions, attic and crawl work, troubleshooting, ETC).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assisting in installations to all or part of the residential or light commercial electrical.
  • Following the instructions and training of the Lead Installer to perform the duties laid out.
  • Providing excellent customer services to introduce or continue the customers experience while dealing with our company and our core values.
  • Basic understanding of how electrical system or equipment should optimally work.
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform the required repair or install.
  • Complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and orderly work areas.
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma/GED 
  • At least 1 years’ experience in the Electrical Field
  • Maintain a valid E.T. card
  • Able to follow directions, ability to interpret electrical schematics, and site/blueprint drawings
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to use an iPhone/iPad effectively
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
