Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Manchester Commons

 

Erie, PA – Casual; Hourly, Non-exempt

Starting Pay: $15.25/hour - $20.75/hour, depending on shift and experience

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and toileting, to ensure good hygiene, grooming and self-esteem, serves meals or monitors eating/drinking, accompanies residents to various activities, assists with admission, discharges and transfers of residents to promote continuity of care.

Requirements for the Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or GED OR provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire
  • Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members
