Job description

The Civil Foreman in the Georgia (GA) market will perform masonry tasks including building forms and pouring concrete pads for equipment placement, structural shelter foundations, and tower foundations. This position is for candidates with extensive experience in cellular construction. The ability to lead crews, and hold at least five years of experience with construction, testing, and troubleshooting/maintenance are a must.

What You Will Do:

  • Under direct supervision of Project Manager
  • Perform masonry tasks including building forms and pouring concrete pads for equipment placement, structural shelter foundations, tower foundations
  • Clean and neat conduit placement
  • Able to work independently making sound decisions on behalf of the company.
  • Oversee, assist, and provide technical training and review for all work as assigned, including oversee and continually refine, perform safety inspections, stay current on State and local codes and changes, stay current on best practices and products available. Possesses the knowledge and technical skill to perform all tasks assigned related to the above
  • Directly oversees Construction Journeyman, Construction Apprentice, & sub-contractors. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; team building and motivating.
  • Maintains onsite relationship with customer
  • Communicates needs, problems and questions to project management on a daily basis
  • Willing and able to work on site while managing crew as a whole.


What You Will Need:

  • 5 years of relevant experience required with Civil construction, such as but not limited to; earth moving, Equipment operation, retaining earth/water, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry, roofing, and painting
  • Grounding/electrical experience to include cad-welds
  • Able to read construction drawings is a must
  • Experience with core drills for shelter entry and drilling/setting concrete anchors
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
  • Ability to communicate fluently with team members, management, and cross departments as needed
  • Completing work in a timely manner, meeting,or exceeding quality standards
  • Ability to climb and work at elevated heights (rooftops and ladders)
  • Willing to travel in SE region of USA up to 5 days a week
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, and weather conditions of all types.
  • Continue to have safety as a #1 priority in the field
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret general job-related documents
  • Have a construction, audit and engineering mindset when problem solving
  • Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
