Lead Commercial AV Installation Technician

ACCI's Commercial AV Division (formerly Donovan Audio Designs) is seeking an experienced professional to join our growing team.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for a motivated professional and team player who can lead commercial AV installations, coordinate with project managers, supervise installation crews, mentor and develop less experienced team members, and deliver exceptional workmanship while remaining a hands-on member of the team.

Our projects include churches, schools, performing arts venues, corporate facilities, government buildings, and hospitality venues. Systems include professional audio, video, LED video walls, projection, DSP, networking, control systems, theatrical lighting, structured cabling, and acoustical treatment. Loudspeaker rigging experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial AV installation experience
  • Ability to read construction drawings and system schematics
  • Experience installing commercial and performance sound reinforcement loudspeakers, video displays, and low-voltage cabling; assembling, populating, wiring, and terminating equipment racks
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license

Applicants must be eligible to obtain JLA badging for work in local school districts and pass any additional background screenings required for airports, military installations, and other secure facilities.

Please include any relevant certifications, specialized training, and experience that support your qualifications for this position.
