Job description

Shift: $18.50/hr, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Mon to Fri, 3 Months Contract to Full Time Employement
We are seeking a Switchboard Assembler to build and modify electromechanical equipment including switchboards and lighting panels. The role requires hands-on assembly using hand tools, power tools, and blueprints while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production standards. Candidates will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting production schedules and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools and assembly techniques
  • Interpret blueprints, bill of materials (BOM), and one-line diagrams
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Process and track work orders using computer systems and scanning devices
  • Perform wiring, cable connections, and component installation
  • Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or documentation issues
  • Disassemble and rework units as required
  • Prepare finished products for shipment including packing and labeling
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety standards

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
