The Electrical Maintenance Technician performs preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment including PLC and CNC machines, reports to theMaintenance Supervisor, is located in Deland, FL and will be an on-site role. Knowledge of single and three (3) phase industrial electricity and power distribution is required. The work hours for this position are Sunday night through Friday morning, 11PM to 7AM plus overtime, as needed. The pay rate for this position is $28 to $35/hour with an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform electrical repairs and installations while following specifications from engineering and equipment manufacturers
  • Interface with operators to ensure production equipment readiness and performance
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent; knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance concepts
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience at journeyman level; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of single and three (3) phase industrial electricity and power distribution

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to climb, stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working with steel microfibers
  • CNC, PLC and low voltage controls
  • Technical certificate, apprenticeship, or military equivalent preferred
