Job description

What if your next service call changed someone’s day?

Imagine walking into a home with a century-old steam system before lunch, diagnosing a refrigerant issue on a ductless mini-split in the afternoon, and wrapping up by advising a family on a safer, more efficient setup. If this sounds like a challenge you’d enjoy, you’ll thrive here.

Your Mission

Elevate the customer experience and the performance of every residential system you touch.

  • Provide precise maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across forced-air, steam, hot water (hydronic), oil-fired, high-velocity, and ductless systems.
  • Use pro-grade diagnostic instruments to solve airflow, fuel, refrigerant, and electrical issues.
  • Keep accurate service notes and maintain truck inventory to support flat-rate repairs.
  • Translate technical findings into clear recommendations that enhance comfort, efficiency, and safety.
  • Coach junior service technicians and model best practices.
  • Follow established service systems and complete all related administrative work.
About You
  • 3+ years in HVAC with strong command of industry standards and building codes.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.
  • Driven by excellence and integrity; steady under pressure with a team-first mindset.
  • Reliable, consistent, and hungry to grow every day.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortably stand, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors in hot and cold conditions.
  • Hear and speak clearly to communicate with customers and teammates.

Benefits That Back You Up
  • Incentive, commission, and bonus opportunities based on role/grade.
  • 401(k) with company match after eligibility requirements are met.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; company-paid short-term disability; long-term disability; and life insurance for you and your dependents.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays (varies by role and month of hire).
  • Give-back culture: Ace Cares Week with time off to volunteer, plus opportunities to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Ace Helpful Fund via the Ace Foundation.
  • Career development that’s real: classes, facilitator-led courses, generous tuition assistance, and performance management that goes beyond a standard annual review.
