Job Summary

The CDA Press is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pressman Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship to develop the skills needed to operate and maintain printing presses efficiently. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and operating printing presses under supervision.
  • Learn to monitor press operations to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as instructed.
  • Assist in adjusting ink, rollers, and paper feed for optimal print quality.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

    Qualifications

    • Interest in learning the printing trade and developing technical skills.
    • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
