Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative is one of the largest electric cooperatives in the US with over 281,000 members and over 12,000 miles of distribution and sub-transmission line. WREC's service area is located along Florida's Nature Coast in Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties and is conveniently situated between Tampa, Orlando, and the gulf beaches.
