Job Summary:**
Primoris Energy Services is seeking a motivated Electrician Apprentice to join our team in Sherman, Texas. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential electrical skills and knowledge, contributing to the successful completion of various energy infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist journey-level electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduit, fixtures, and control devices.
* Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts and equipment installation procedures.
* Prepare work sites, including gathering tools and materials, setting up safety equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
* Perform basic electrical tasks under direct supervision, such as pulling wire, terminating connections, and installing electrical boxes and outlets.
* Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, as directed by experienced electricians.
* Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and the team.
* Participate in on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship programs to continuously improve electrical knowledge and skills.
* Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and performing routine inspections of electrical systems.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Enrollment in or completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program is preferred, but not required for highly motivated candidates.
