Frontier Construction is looking for local crew members who want to learn the craft of carpentry. We do all kinds of fun projects, from decks and porches, to kitchens and bathrooms, to additions and new construction. We work together as a crew to get the job done and always go out of our way to teach our laborers as we go. Within 1 year  our laborers typically have their own tools, know how to run power tools accurately and safely, and gain experience doing everything from flooring to framing to drywall. We love promoting and giving pay raises as our crew members learn more and can do more. Don't end up as a grunt on some big construction crew. Be part of a team that builds high end, beautiful structures that will stand the test of time.
Experience is not required but a good attitude, ability to show up on time, and being physically fit are.
Laborer Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs various physical duties as assigned.
  • Maintain all safety standards.
  • Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials.
  • Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
  • Effectively using hand tools and power tools, depending on the jobsite/assignment.
  • Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or by supervisor.
Laborer Qualifications/Skills:
  • Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
  • Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
  • High school diploma is an asset
  • Previous experience, especially in construction, preferred
