Job description

Interested in becoming a CNA? Let us help!
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Apprenticeship program is a career pathway where individuals obtain paid work experience and classroom instruction that will prepare them to take the CNA exam and obtain Alaska CNA licensure.
Over the course of the structured 8-week program, apprentices complete classroom instruction and clinical training designed to meet applicable state and national requirements. Participants work under the direct supervision of an instructor and/or Certified Nursing Assistant preceptor, gaining practical experience through side-by-side learning in a healthcare setting.
All apprentices who successfully complete this program and obtain Alaska licensure as a CNA will continue employment as a full-time staff member.
