Job description

Crane 1 Services is seeking experienced Service Technicians to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cranes, lifting equipment, and industrial machinery. We welcome candidates with experience working on overhead cranes, mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, construction equipment, heavy equipment, hoists, hydraulic systems, and other electromechanical equipment.
The ideal candidate has strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills and enjoys working in the field to diagnose and solve complex equipment issues safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cranes, hoists, lifting equipment, and industrial machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot motor controls, VFDs, AC/DC systems, hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and related components.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Document equipment conditions and provide repair and safety recommendations to customers.
  • Complete service reports and inspection documentation accurately.
  • Work safely at heights and in industrial or construction environments.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing cranes, heavy equipment, construction equipment, industrial machinery, or similar electromechanical systems.

Candidates who don't meet the listed experience and or qualifications requirements will be assessed and evaluated for an Apprenticeship or Service Technician Level 1 (Starting Pay:$25/hr-$30/hr)
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including motor controls, 480V systems, VFDs, and industrial controls.
  • Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Mechanical repair and diagnostic skills.
  • Understanding of OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer service calls.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation.
