Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Apprentice

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Saturday 4 am - 12:30 pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Apprentice to join our maintenance team. This position is ideal for candidates with electrical knowledge and hands-on experience who are looking to grow their skills in an industrial environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V and have experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, electrical installations, and troubleshooting. Apprentice-level candidates with formal training or practical experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Pull wire, bend conduit, and install electrical systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, motor controls, wiring, and related equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and facility equipment.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Assist with startup and shutdown procedures for facility equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company safety standards.
  • Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision when needed.

Qualifications Required

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical safety practices.
  • Experience pulling wire and bending conduit.
  • Familiarity with 120V, 240V, 277V, and 480V electrical systems.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts.
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and workplace safety standards.
  • Ability to work in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical training, trade school education, apprenticeship experience, or related hands-on experience.
