Requisition Summary
PACCAR seeks a Financial Systems Analyst to optimize and enhance our enterprise financial technology infrastructure. As PACCAR modernizes its financial technology stack with AI/ML capabilities and cloud infrastructure, you'll evaluate how these emerging solutions integrate with our existing systems and identify opportunities to strengthen performance, security, and compliance. You'll analyze complex financial systems and collaborate internally to implement solutions that support PACCAR's global operations reliably and securely.
Job Functions / Responsibilities

In this role you will: 

· Analyze financial systems and applications to identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and optimization opportunities

· Conduct root cause analysis on system incidents and implement permanent solutions

· Manage SQL Server database performance tuning, query optimization, and maintenance

· Support business application enhancements, troubleshooting, and integration with financial systems

· Collaborate with developers on system design, architecture reviews, and code quality assessments

· Create comprehensive technical documentation, system specifications, and process flows

· Evaluate emerging financial technology solutions and assess compatibility with existing infrastructure

· Monitor system performance metrics and capacity planning for Windows and Linux environments

· Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

- Windows Server infrastructure (2016/2019/2022)

- SQL Server (2016 and newer versions)

- .NET Framework and .NET Core applications

- Linux servers (Redhat/Ubuntu)

- IBM AS400 systems (analysis and coordination)

- System monitoring tools and performance analytics platforms

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of hands-on system analysis and technical infrastructure support in a regulated financial services environment, including preferred demonstrated expertise in:

  • SQL Server database design, performance tuning, and T-SQL development
  • Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration and troubleshooting
  • Linux systems (Red Hat/Ubuntu) administration and command-line operations
  • Financial systems support, SOX compliance, and data security practices
  • Root cause analysis and system incident management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • IBM AS400/IBM i systems experience
  • Disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
  • ETL processes and data integration
  • Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) in hybrid environments
  • Microsoft Certified Associate (MCA), ITIL, or financial industry certifications
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience
  • Cybersecurity principles and threat modeling
