About the Role

We are looking for two types of candidates to support a full schedule of installation work across Maui:

1. Experienced AC Installers ($30–$35+/hr)
  • Must be confident handling full HVAC installations - including roof work

  • Will operate forklifts, work with ducting, and install everything from mini-splits to full systems

  • Expected to work independently or lead small crews on site

2. General Laborers with HVAC or Roofing Experience ($20–$25/hr)
  • Will assist experienced technicians with system installs

  • Ideal for someone looking to grow in HVAC while already familiar with construction or roof safety

  • You'll load and unload materials, prep work sites, and support install crews


Key Responsibilities
  • Install HVAC systems (split, mini-split, package units, etc.)

  • Work on rooftops, ladders, and in exposed environments

  • Operate forklifts, power tools, and site vehicles (flatbed/pickup trucks)

  • Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work site

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team leads

  • Follow OSHA and job-site safety guidelines at all times


Required Qualifications

For All Candidates:

  • Valid driver's license and clean abstract

  • Able to pass a drug test and background check

  • Able to lift, carry, and install heavy materials

  • Comfortable working outdoors and on rooftops

  • Safety-minded and dependable

For Installers (Higher Rate Tier):

  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience

  • Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical plans

  • Able to troubleshoot and ensure clean, code-compliant installs

  • Must bring own hand tools

For Apprentice Laborers:

  • Basic HVAC or roofing knowledge preferred

  • Willingness to learn and follow instruction

  • Forklift experience is a plus
