Job description

Southeast Gas has an immediate opening for an Operator Technician at its Pike Road Office.

Responsibilities for the position include:

Learning and assisting with installing, repairing, and maintaining gas distribution systems.

Corrosion control, leak investigations, and meter installations.

Operating tools and equipment, and assisting crews in construction and maintenance.

Responding to customer service needs under supervision.

Requirements for the position include:

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

High school diploma or GED.

Possession of a valid Alabama Driver's License.

Ability to obtain CDL within 1 year.

Ability to obtain Apprentice Gas Fitter Certification within 1 year.

Residence within Pike Road service area.
