The Role:
As a Light Welder, you will join our Manufacturing Team and support production by performing basic welding tasks, reading simple blueprints, and learning multiple welding processes under close supervision.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard production welds and basic repair welding
  • Follow instructions and simple blueprints or work instructions
  • Assist with equipment setup and routine maintenance
  • Conduct basic visual inspections of welds
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Meet production expectations and follow quality procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Vocational welding training or apprenticeship (preferred)
  • Basic AWS or company-specific certifications; working toward advanced qualifications
  • Ability to interpret simple blueprints with guidance
  • Basic proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on common steels
  • Performs basic visual checks; relies on supervisors for final inspection
  • Assists with setup and routine equipment maintenance
  • Learns OSHA standards, PPE use, and fire/ventilation safety
  • Works under close supervision with limited decision-making
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future

Pay Rate: $17.00 - 17.51
