Location: Joint Base Lewis - McChord, WA
Schedule: Monday - Thursday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr.- $91/hr.
Project Type: Retrofit Lighting Project

Overview

Envocore, LLC is an established national leader engaged in the engineering, design, and installation of energy-efficient systems. We deliver projects for Government, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Institutional, and Retail facilities throughout the United States.

We are seeking Electrical Apprentices to support a Retrofit Lighting Project in the McChord, WA area. Candidates must be actively enrolled in a federally approved electrical apprenticeship program and eager to develop their skills while working alongside experienced electrical professionals.

ResponsibilitiesElectrical & Solar Installation
  • Assist with installing conduit ranging from 1" to 4"
  • Assist with AC and DC wiring installation
  • Support solar panel and racking system installations
  • Perform minor electrical tasks under supervision
  • Assist with installation, retrofitting, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment
Construction & Equipment Operation
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Operate portable drills, table saws, aerial lifts, and other equipment as required
  • Assist with demolition of old fixtures and installation of new fixtures
  • Support installation of emergency lighting, occupancy sensors, battery backup systems, and related components
Material Handling & Site Support
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks
  • Stage materials and equipment for installation crews
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

Must Have
  • Active enrollment in a federally approved electrical apprenticeship program
  • General electrical knowledge
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Basic tablet and computer skills
  • Ability to distinguish colors used in electrical wiring
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
Nice to Have
  • Solar installation experience
  • Commercial construction experience
  • Experience working with conduit and electrical wiring
  • Experience operating lifts and power tools
  • Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical safety procedures
