Position Summary

The Apprentice Data Center HVAC Technician will assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex commercial and industrial HVAC infrastructure under direct supervision. This role focuses on learning technical skills, supporting the senior team in troubleshooting, and maintaining system efficiency to ensure maximum uptime for our clients.


Key Responsibilities

* Field Service & Basic Support: Assist senior technicians with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including data center cooling units (CRAC/CRAH), chillers, and air handling systems.

* Client-Facing Professionalism: Support senior staff in monitoring system performance using Building Management Systems (BMS) and maintaining professional communication regarding system health.

* Operational Support & Learning: Perform routine maintenance tasks, monitor system logs, and diagnose basic causes of problems under the guidance of senior technicians.

Stewardship & Safety: Maintain meticulously clean mechanical rooms, organize tools, and ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols on the job site.

Required Experience & Qualifications

* A strong mechanical aptitude and an eagerness to learn the HVAC trade within a data center environment.

* Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles (preferred).
