Job Description:

AriensCo is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our hardworking and passionate team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials that support our production operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help us continue delivering high-quality products that power the great outdoors.

  • Pay: Starts at $22/hour + $4,000 sign on bonus

  • Schedule & Shift:Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours); 4:30AM-2:30PM

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Work as part of a team having responsibility for handling materials for outdoor power equipment

  • Handle raw materials and/or parts and places in designated location

  • Operate equipment needed to perform the job

  • Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals

  • Record information in adherence to standard work

  • Load and unload materials and units onto trucks

  • Enter the material movement into AS400

  • Operate an industrial truck or pallet jack to assist in loading or moving product

  • Deliver the right parts, quantities to assembly cells or work centers in a timely manner

  • Off load incoming product and transfer to proper storage locations

  • May locate and transport raw materials to and from work centers

  • Identify and locate proper tooling when requested by operators

  • May load and unload dies into work centers

  • Empty scrap hoppers

  • May assist with Crane operation

  • Assist with set-up duties as needed

  • Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day

  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place

  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies

  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Demonstrated experience in safely operating a forklift and other material handling equipment
