Job description

Job Title: Autobody Technician

Department: Service Mechanic

Reports to: Service Mechanic Supervisor


Position Purpose:

The technician will perform paint and bodywork from small repairs to complete restorations. Responsible for executing the highest quality product. Must be collaborative and willing to mentor an apprentice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Body work
  • Block sanding
  • Prime and paint
  • Color sanding
  • Buff and polish
  • Assembly and disassembly

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility. They will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational/technical school program in auto repair or related field preferred
  • Minimum of five years related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.
  • Good vision to inspect repair work.
  • Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Culture

Team members are in the office 5 days per week, 8am to 5pm at the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. During live events the company largely travels together to produce and ensure each event is a success. This requires weekend work and long hours.
