Their responsibilities typically include assisting with basic tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and diagnostic procedures. Through hands-on experience and sometimes classroom instruction, apprentices gain the practical skills and technical knowledge needed to become certified auto mechanics.

What types of tasks and responsibilities can an apprentice auto mechanic expect to handle during their first year on the job?

Why Work Here?

You will join a small, family-style organization that values long-term relationships and treats contractors like full-time team members. The company offers a close-knit, supportive culture where you can grow with a new and expanding location. Once converted to a permanent role, you gain access to benefits including health, vision, dental coverage, and a 401(k) plan with a competitive match, as well as paid time off that accrues and scales with tenure. This role is based in a first-shift shop environment, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The facility is a newer location that has been prepared specifically for incoming trucks and upfitting work.
