Salary: Competitive hourly pay with commissions/bonus
SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $1,500
About Us:
We are a well-established muffler and automotive repair shop known for exceptional customer service and high-quality work. Our team is passionate about cars and dedicated to ensuring our customers drive away happy. We are looking for an experienced auto mechanic to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.
Our days of operation are Tuesday - Saturday.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair various makes and models of vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Repair and maintain brake systems, CV axles, and suspension/steering components
  • Air conditioning repairs
  • Perform oil leak diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform exhaust work, including: repairs, custom exhaust systems, and dual exhaust installations
  • Operate diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues
  • Perform welding and pipe bending as needed for custom and exhaust repairs
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status and necessary repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Experience with exhaust work, including custom and dual exhaust systems, is strongly preferred
  • Welding and pipe bending experience is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation and have impeccable attendance
