Job description

Overview

Role provides fundamental equity research support for our Capital Appreciation team.

Responsibilities
  • Diverse responsibilities including company/industry related research projects, building/updating financial models, assisting in quarterly earnings analysis, attending conferences and meetings with management teams, preliminary work on new ideas.
  • Collaborate with the entire Capital Appreciation team and others across the central research platform.
  • Provide investment insight and impact the investment process, not just number crunching.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience (technology equity research preferred).
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills including previous experience building three‑statement models.
  • Creativity and ability to imagine.
  • Strong academic background and intellectual curiosity.
  • Highly motivated, confident self‑starter with ability to work independently and with others.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct in‑depth thematic research across a broad spectrum of topics which can be additive to the investment process.
  • Completion of at least level 1 of the CFA preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in‑depth research and analysis.
  • FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $110,000.00‑$160,000.00 (varies by location).
