About the Organization

Located in the heart of Mesa, Arizona, Body & Soul Quality Counseling Center is a premier private outpatient mental health practice known for its comprehensive range of services. Our team is dedicated to providing effective mental health solutions to a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families. In collaboration with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, we prioritize a client-centered approach, ensuring that each person receives care tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technologies to facilitate appointments and deliver counseling services. As a team, we are committed to ensuring a supportive and balanced work atmosphere where our mental health professionals feel empowered to thrive. We utilize state-of-the-art teleconferencing tools and electronic health record systems to streamline client interactions and documentation, allowing counselors to focus on what they do best: providing impactful mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a caseload of diverse clients, establishing strong rapport and professional relationships while adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Regularly meet with clients to discuss their progress, stability, and any upcoming appointments, ensuring a thorough understanding of their journey.
  • Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans that address client needs and goals, monitoring progress throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation and progress notes for each client, fulfilling all legal and organizational requirements.
  • Conduct intake assessments to gather comprehensive client histories and current mental health concerns.
  • Engage in regular individual therapy sessions to provide ongoing support and interventions.
  • Participate in continuous supervision for professional growth and compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to optimize client care.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, actively seeking new knowledge and skills to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with an outpatient population, encompassing a broad range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and we are committed to providing culturally competent care that recognizes and respects individual differences. Your expertise will be instrumental in empowering clients to build resilience and promote their mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
  • Must hold an unrestricted, independent, and current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
  • At least one year of experience providing mental health services in an outpatient clinical setting after obtaining licensure.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools, including electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and basic office software such as spreadsheets and email clients.
  • Experience conducting clinical intake assessments is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing individual psychotherapy to diverse populations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications. Our compensation structure includes a fee-for-service model with guaranteed rates paid in advance, eliminating the wait for reimbursement. Additional bonus opportunities allow you to further enhance your earnings. Benefits include:

  • Medical, vision, and dental insurance with supplemental options available.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions to help secure your financial future.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage for clinicians, providing peace of mind.
  • An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering wellbeing resources and support services.
  • Continuous professional development opportunities, including free CEUs on a variety of mental health topics.
  • Commitment to a healthy work-life balance.
