Retail Appointment Setter - DFW Territories
Berkeys Retail Partners
Join an Award-Winning Team at Berkeys Plumbing, A/C & Electrical!
Berkeys is building a pipeline of energetic, customer-focused Retail Appointment Setters for current and future opportunities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
In this role, you'll represent Berkeys inside major retail partner locations, engage customers in friendly conversations, identify potential home-service needs, and schedule qualified appointments for our sales and service teams.
This is a territory-based position, not a permanent assignment to one store. Employees may work at different retail locations within their assigned DFW territory based on staffing coverage, store traffic, seasonal demand, and other business needs.

Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm OR 11am-7pm

  • Employees are not permanently assigned to one store.
  • Store assignments may change based on staffing needs, customer traffic, seasonal demand, promotions, and program performance.
  • Employees generally receive a monthly schedule identifying their assigned stores, workdays, and hours.
  • Schedule and store assignments may be adjusted when reasonably necessary to support business needs.
  • Open availability is required for evening and weekend shifts.
  • Holiday availability may be required based on retail partner operations and business needs.
  • Employees must be available during peak retail shopping hours.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required for regular travel between assigned retail locations.
  • Occasional meetings, orientation, or training may be held at the Berkeys Southlake office.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As a Retail Appointment Setter, you will:
  • Greet and engage customers inside assigned retail partner locations.
  • Start friendly, professional conversations about customers' home-service needs.
  • Educate homeowners about Berkeys' plumbing, HVAC, electrical, water treatment, and generator services.
  • Ask open-ended questions to identify potential service, repair, maintenance, or replacement needs.
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments with the appropriate Berkeys sales or service team.
  • Clearly explain available services, promotions, and appointment next steps.
  • Accurately enter customer and appointment information into company systems.
  • Walk throughout assigned store areas and proactively engage potential customers.
  • Build positive working relationships with store associates, department leaders, and management.
  • Maintain company displays, signage, and promotional materials in a clean and professional condition.
  • Meet established lead-generation, customer-engagement, attendance, and performance expectations.
  • Attend required training, coaching sessions, meetings, and role-play activities.
  • Represent Berkeys and our retail partners with professionalism, honesty, enthusiasm, and integrity.

This is a lead-generation and appointment-setting role. You will not be responsible for completing in-home sales presentations or closing full-service sales.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Open availability for evening and weekend shifts
  • Ability to travel between retail locations within an assigned DFW territory
  • Ability to stand and walk for four to eight hours during an assigned shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to use a smartphone, email, text messaging, and web-based applications
  • Ability to successfully complete required company and retail-partner background-screening requirements
