Job description

Dixon School District #170 is accepting applications for the position of Paraprofessional.

POSTING

37.5 hours a week Classroom Paraprofessional

Reagan Middle School

Paraprofessional Duties Include

  1. Monitor and supervise students
  2. Working in a classroom setting or 1-on-1 with a student as needed

Paraprofessional Qualifications

  1. Highly Qualified Parapro Approval (60 hours post-secondary work shown on a transcript or passing score on the parapro assessment/diploma or GED)
  2. Interest and ability to work with students/teachers
  3. Ability to work with others as well as independently
  4. Ability to multi-task

Salary and Fringe Benefits

  • Hourly rate will be based on the lane/step placement of the paraprofessional for the 26-27 school year per the DESPA collective bargaining agreement. Range: $15.00 - $18.41
  • Fifteen (15) days per year sick leave.
  • Two (2) days personal leave per year.
  • Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance offered.
  • IMRF Retirement
