PuroClean, a leader in property emergency services, helps families and businesses overcome the devastating setbacks caused by water, fire, mold, and other conditions resulting in property damage. We are seeking Remediation Lead Technicians to work with our team.
The following certifications from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) are necessary Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT). Other IICRC certifications are a plus.
Compensation: $20-24 to start. Pay increases with demonstration of skill and motivation.
As a Disaster Restoration Lead Technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Accurately complete all necessary job file documentation
  • Follow Service Level Agreements (SLA) and compliance tasks required by our partner programs
  • Documenting job and taking photos in a mobile app
  • Bringing equipment into the customers house and assisting in setting up drying equipment
  • Removal of wet drywall, insulation, carpeting, hardwood and tile flooring
  • Demolition and hauling debris out of the customers house
  • Mold removal
  • Post demolition cleaning
  • Structural drying
  • Cleaning rodent/bat infestations in attics and crawlspaces
  • There will be times where working in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces is required

Desired Skills:
  • Desire two or more years of experience as a restoration technician
  • Construction knowledge and ability to use hand tools/power tools
  • Ability to navigate through smartphone/tablet and use mobile apps that are critical to our business
  • Proficiency with portable devices as they will be used to report and record daily activity
  • Ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to think and make competent decisions
  • Very good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Be able to both work independently and/or with a team.
  • Mentor and transfer your knowledge/skillset to the team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IICRC (i.e., WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) certifications

Requirements:

  • Be reliable, dependable, punctual
  • Full-time position; holidays, weekends may be required therefore, you MUST be flexible
  • Be part of an on-call rotation and respond to after-hour calls. Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the tasks associated with this position
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
