Develop production-grade AI agents and GenAI applications for healthcare, with emphasis on agent orchestration, RAG, tool use, workflow automation, and personalized assistance. Develop secure, scalable AI services using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel, plus Python APIs and modern web integration. Improve quality through prompt and context optimization, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop validation. Partner with product, clinical, data, and compliance teams to deliver measurable value in HIPAA-compliant environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience with advanced Python development experience delivering scalable, production-grade full-stack applications.
  • We require at least 3 years of experience building user-facing applications. We must build these applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Solid, or Angular. Additionally, the development of responsive, accessible, and API-integrated user interfaces is necessary.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems using contemporary AI SDKs, orchestration frameworks, and agentic architectures. Proficient in prompt engineering, model selection, context management, and generative AI deployment best practices.
  • I have direct experience developing AI-powered solutions, such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and embeddings-based retrieval systems. These solutions also include AI agents, multi-agent workflows, and advanced conversational interfaces. Additionally, I have implemented AI-specific testing, evaluation, safety, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, or comparable AI-enabled coding platforms, applying these tools for code acceleration, prototyping, debugging, and quality improvement.
  • Experience with AI system evaluation, observability, reliability, fallback strategies, safety guardrails, latency optimization, and rate-limit management within enterprise production environments.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents with tool invocation, memory, workflow orchestration, and multi-step reasoning capabilities in complex enterprise use cases.
  • You need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. This degree should accompany at least 5 years of relevant professional experience that you have gained. Alternatively, you can have a Master's degree in a similar field, which requires 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical team members. Additionally, I have excellent collaboration skills, allowing me to work with product managers, designers, clinicians, and compliance specialists. Furthermore, I have expertise working within regulated or high-accountability environments, such as healthcare, finance, or government.
  • Experience in healthcare industries

Additional Information

This is a Hybrid office position where employees primarily operate from the company office with occasional work from home to support focus work and work/life balance needs. Designated Tech Market locations for this role: New York City; Louisville, KY; Dallas, TX.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$141,100 - $194,000 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
