Want to revolutionize the future of education and do meaningful work that transforms future generations’ lives?

Join our global team as an online teacher for Applied Math and step into a vibrant, live online classroom where you’ll be showing students how mathematics solves real-world problems, from finance to measurement and everyday decision-making. You’ll teach motivated students from around the world in real time, supported by CGA’s technology, curriculum and community.

Class times (PST): Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Applied Math, tailored to the needs of a diverse, international group of students.

  • Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive and supportive online classroom.

  • Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt your teaching to ensure strong learning outcomes for every student.

  • Plan and communicate clear course schedules, detailing lesson content and assessment timelines.

  • Lead professional, interactive live sessions, making full use of CGA’s online learning resources and technology.

  • Set meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and give constructive feedback that encourages student growth.

  • Develop high-quality educational materials, including tests and exams, contributing to CGA’s rich resource library.

  • Manage your online classroom on Canvas, keeping it well organised with assignments and assessments for easy student access.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience at high school (Grades 9–12) in a school setting (please note that, while valuable, tutoring experience cannot be counted towards this requirement).

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.

  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.

  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative, technology-enabled education.

  • Knowledge of a US high school curriculum and, where relevant, associated external examinations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. a postgraduate certificate in education, a teaching degree, or a teaching license).

  • Previous online teaching experience.
