Job description

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a deep-tech intelligence ecosystem building technology that enables organizations to understand, decide and act across complex real-world environments.

At the foundation of the ecosystem is a dedicated research capability that develops advanced technologies across multimodal intelligence, world models, temporal systems, signal processing and other emerging fields. These capabilities are productized through our client’s core AI orchestration platform and applied across industries including mobility, logistics, aviation, government, enterprise intelligence and critical infrastructure.

Our solutions connect intelligence with real-world operations - turning data from systems, sensors, cameras, geospatial environments and enterprise sources into actionable decisions and outcomes.

As they are expanding into North America, we are looking for a commercially astute, client-facing Solutions Architect who can translate complex business challenges into compelling technology solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Solutions Architect will sit at the intersection of business, technology and the customer. This is not a purely technical architecture role.

You will work with prospective and existing customers across North America to understand how their businesses and operations work, identify high-value problems that technology can solve, and shape solutions using OUR CLIENT’s products, platforms and underlying technology capabilities.

You will lead technical and solution conversations from early discovery through solution definition, proposal and handover. You must be equally comfortable speaking with a CIO, business leader, operations executive, engineering team or technical architect.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical depth with business literacy, commercial judgement, emotional intelligence and executive-level presentation skills.

You will not simply respond to technical requirements. You will help customers define the right problem, challenge assumptions where necessary, and demonstrate how technology can create measurable operational and commercial value.

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

UNDERSTAND THE CUSTOMER AND THE BUSINESS
• Lead discovery conversations with customers to understand their business model, operating environment, strategic priorities, constraints and desired outcomes.

• Identify operational pain points, inefficiencies and opportunities where our client’s technology can create meaningful business value.

• Translate broad or ambiguous customer challenges into clearly defined technology use cases.

• Understand the commercial context behind a technical requirement, including value drivers, operational impact, scalability and return on investment.

• Ask the right questions before proposing the technology.
ARCHITECT REAL-WORLD SOLUTIONS

• Design end-to-end solution concepts using OUR CLIENT’s platforms, products and technology capabilities.

• Translate customer environments into practical architectures spanning data, AI, geospatial intelligence, enterprise systems, sensors, cameras, edge environments and existing infrastructure where relevant.

• Determine how OUR CLIENT’s technology can integrate into a customer’s current technology and operational landscape rather than designing solutions in isolation.

• Consider requirements including security, privacy, data sovereignty, deployment model, integration, performance, scalability and operational resilience.

• Work with customers to move from problem → use case → solution architecture → business outcome.

SHAPE PROPOSALS AND COMMERCIAL SOLUTIONS

• Partner closely with Commercial, Product, Engineering and R&D teams to develop customer propositions.

• Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, technical proposals, statements of work and solution presentations.

• Define solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, integration requirements and high-level implementation approaches.

• Help ensure proposed solutions are technically credible, commercially viable and aligned with genuine customer needs.

• Support the development of demonstrations, proof-of-concepts and solution narratives for strategic opportunities.

CONNECT THE MARKET

• Develop a deep understanding of our client’s technology portfolio and how its capabilities can be applied across different industries and operational environments.

• Identify repeatable customer problems and emerging market opportunities across North America.

• Bring structured market and customer feedback into Product, Engineering and R&D.

• Help translate their underlying technology capabilities into relevant industry-specific propositions and use cases.

• Support the evolution of their North American solution strategy as the market develops.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• Significant experience in Solutions Architecture, Technology Consulting, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, Technical Pre-Sales or a closely related client-facing technology role.

• Experience working within a technology consulting firm, systems integrator, managed services provider, enterprise technology company or similarly complex solution environment.

• Strong experience engaging directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to understand business problems and translate them into technology solutions.

• Strong technical breadth across modern enterprise technology environments.

• Experience designing solutions involving multiple systems, integrations, data sources and stakeholders.

• Ability to understand and communicate solution architecture at both conceptual and technical levels.

• Strong business literacy and the ability to understand commercial and operational drivers behind technology decisions.

• Excellent presentation, storytelling and executive communication skills.

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

• Strong workshop facilitation, discovery and consultative problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to operate effectively in environments where the problem or solution is not fully defined.
