Job description

Applied Behavior Analysis

At Golden Resources ABA, we provide evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis services to children and their families, both in-home and in community-based settings. Our approach is collaborative and compassionate. We strive to create an atmosphere of safety and trust, where children and families feel welcome and supported in their journey. We work closely with families to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.

As a Behavior Therapist at Golden Resources ABA you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism and their families.

Our clients vary in age, goals, and support needs. To ensure the best possible care, therapists are matched with clients based on clinical fit, scheduling, and client-specific preferences. This allows for strong rapport and a comfortable environment for both the client and staff. Applicants who are flexible and open to working with a variety of family requests are encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy, implementing skill acquisition plans, behavior protocols and behavior support plans as written by the supervising BCBA
  • Create and maintain a safe, fun and stimulating environment
  • Collect accurate data throughout each session
  • Complete thorough and timely session notes
  • Consistently communicate with the supervising BCBA and Clinic Coordinator

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college experience preferred)
  • Experience in working with children with autism a plus but not required
  • Self-motivated to learn and grow professionally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy, patience and a genuine desire to help others
  • Ability to actively play with children for 20 minutes at a time, stand, sit, squat, bend, twist and lift 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience with Passage Health but not required

  • On the job training; 10-20% of clinical time supervised by the BCBA

Hours

  • Hiring for: Afternoon hours, 4:00โ€“6:00 PM, 4 days per week, plus Saturdays, 10:00 AMโ€“12:00 PM.
