As an RBT, you’ll be a trusted clinical teammate under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll provide high-quality, direct ABA services, coach and support fellow staff, contribute to assessments and behavior plans, and help create positive, supportive environments where people can thrive. Tradewinds offers a comprehensive curriculum, vocational training, therapies, and enrichment activities all designed to help students build independence and essential life skills.
  • New Discoveries Learning Center - Work with preschoolers ages 3–5 in an inclusive setting that prepares them for kindergarten. This program emphasizes hands-on learning, social development, and early intervention services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy.
  • Youth & Adult Residential Programs — Provide care and skill-building supports in our Children’s Residential Program (CRP) and Adult Residential Programs, creating home-like environments where individuals can thrive.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (required).
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Demonstrated experience implementing ABA programs and coaching peers on protocol implementation (preferred).
  • Strong data collection, graphing, and reporting skills; comfort preparing data summaries for team reviews.
  • Excellent computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to give/receive performance feedback.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant and to follow supervisory guidance.
  • Travel required; must have or be willing to obtain a valid New York State Driver’s License.
