Job description

As a Senior Application Analyst, you will ensure that URUS' ERP system (JDEdwards) effectively supports business processes and organizational objectives. This role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, translating business requirements into functional solutions, designing system configurations, and driving continuous improvement. You will maintain deep expertise in JDEdwards functionality, integrations, and configuration while shaping scalable, efficient system solutions. This position reports to the Product Owner.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Engage with business process owners to gather, document, and validate requirements.
    Translate business needs into functional system solutions.
  • Serve as the liaison between business teams and IT to ensure alignment with business goals.

Functional Consulting

  • Configure JDEdwards modules to support evolving business processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales.
  • Maintain system documentation, including SOPs and configuration records.

Solution Architecture

  • Design endtoend functional solutions, including integrations and data flows.
  • Ensure solution designs are scalable, maintainable, and follow best practices.

Change & Release Management

  • Manage configuration changes, testing activities, and production deployments.
  • Partner with IT to ensure changes meet governance standards and minimize disruption.

Project Delivery

  • Manage functional deliverables, timelines, and resource needs within assigned projects.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and major enhancements.

Support & Operations

  • Provide Tier 2 functional support, including rootcause analysis and issue resolution.
  • Identify and recommend system improvements and minor enhancements.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with JDEdwards ERP systems.
  • Deep expertise in at least two functional areas: Finance, Supply Chain, or Sales.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, solution design, and ERP/CRM configuration.
  • Preferred experience integrating AI services with JDEdwards or working with AI tools.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and solution architecture.
  • Experience managing change and release processes in enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success supporting ERP/CRM implementations and enhancements.
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving, and analytical skills.
